Mak 90 Furniture Conversion

The MaK-90 by Norinco features a wood hand grip as well as a wood butt stock with a thumb hole in the buttstock. I stumbled across this gun a year or two ago and got a good price on it, around $400, used. Well worth that amount and even more now with the looming gun legislation on the horizon. I'm looking at removing the MAK 90 Stock and possibly giving it a more traditional AK 47 look. I'll also do the Conversion Kit, and I've located that set already, so 922r should not be a problem. I would like to stay with Wood (save money and keep the Handguard furniture).

The problem I have with my MAK 90 as you can see in the picture isnit was an Underfold before the ban. So it can not take a aftermarket shoulder stock without major work. Thet is a plate welded onto the back of the reciever. It can take a underfolder easly but I can not find an american made one that will fit.

Some of the Mak 90's have a slant cut receiver at the rear of the gun. Only one company makes a stock set to fit the slant cut.
